Elephant Walk Private Project – Itinerary

Duration: Approximately 1.5 to 2.00 hours
Location: Near Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Kegalle, Sri Lanka


🕘 Arrival & Welcome (9:00 AM or based on your booking time)

  • Meet your guide and receive a short briefing on elephant behavior and safety.
  • Learn about the sanctuary’s ethical practices and the elephant you’ll be meeting.

🚶‍♂️ Elephant Walk ( 30-40 minutes)

  • Take a peaceful guided walk alongside a rescued elephant.
  • Stroll through a scenic natural area while observing the elephant’s behavior up close.

🍌 Feeding Session (15–20 minutes)

  • Participate in a hands-on feeding experience.
  • Learn about the elephant’s diet and daily care routine.

💦 Bathing & Washing (20–30 minutes)

  • Head to a nearby river or bathing spot.
  • Assist in bathing and scrubbing the elephant in a safe and respectful way.
  • Enjoy playful moments as the elephant splashes and relaxes in the water.
