Happy Elephant Ethical Elephant Experience – Itinerary

Location: Near Pinnawala or at select ethical elephant sanctuaries in Sri Lanka


🕘 Arrival & Welcome (9:00 AM or your scheduled time)

  • Warm welcome by sanctuary staff
  • Briefing on elephant behavior, safety, and the sanctuary’s ethical care practices

🚶‍♂️ Elephant Walk (30 minutes)

  • Take a guided walk through a natural setting with a rescued elephant
  • Learn about the elephant’s history, personality, and daily routine

🍌 Feeding Session (15–20 minutes)

  • Prepare fruit bowls and herbal snacks
  • Feed the elephant by hand and observe natural eating behavior

💦 Bath & Wash (30–40 minutes)
